Finishing Solutions Specialist Direct Tool Company Celebrates Best Ever Month Having Obliterated Sales Targets Again

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]Direct Tool Company (better known as DTC) claims that a significant drive on customer service in Q1 has organically resulted in countless referrals from happy customers.

“The rapid increase in customers this year has forced us to expand our specialist Account Management team as to ensure we continue to deliver on service.” Explains Tim Wakeford, Managing Director of DTC.

DTC claim that new business from a variety of automotive, marine and composite engineering customers were to thank for the surge in sales. DTC support numerous finishing industries from accident repair centres to specialist super yacht refit & refinishing companies.

DTC also believe their growing own branded range of finishing consumable products have played a factor in reaching this milestone. “We offer a cutting edge and comprehensive range of finishing consumables which can be found nowhere else. Over 50 new products were added to the range in the first quarter of this year” Explained Mark Francis, Head of Procurement at DTC. “Whilst the extra research and development has undoubtedly paid off, once key customers start talking about these unique finishing solutions we are instantly approached by aspiring business owners wanting to use what the best in the business are on.” added Mr Francis.

The projects division of DTC also contributed significantly to this record breaking month. New projects won include: a spray booth installation for a train service facility, dust extraction fit out of a yacht restoration facility and a compressed air system installation for an automotive manufacturer.

“Our commitment and dedication to delivering projects on time and on budget continues to outperform the competition and plays a pivotal role in our ongoing strategy.” Explained Mr Wakeford.

DTC claims that increased sales growth promises to offer greater buying power which will lead to a larger ‘always in stock’ range and keener pricing for their customers. In a competitive market suffering from the effects of Brexit, it seems DTC are well equipped to ensure their customers can keep on working.
