The tool is designed to accommodate optional 5-inch (127 mm) diameter Diamond Cut-Off Wheels, featuring a 3/4-inch (19 mm) diameter center hole. It is equipped with an adjustable wheel guard, which includes a vacuum port of 1-1/4 inches (32 mm) outside diameter, aimed at diverting airborne dust and debris towards an optional vacuum source, making it excellent for efficient cutting while capturing dust and debris. This makes it particularly suitable for use on fiberglass and composites. The tool’s non-marring composite base can be removed to make full use of the maximum blade depth of 1-3/16 inches (30 mm), with an additional composite base available for scoring purposes. The design of the Shroud/Guide Plate facilitates cutting as close as 1/8 inch (3 mm) to the leading edge of the workpiece. Furthermore, the Wick Lube System contributes to the extension of gear life through simple lubrication, while the exhaust system’s ability to rotate 360 degrees ensures that exhaust fumes are consistently directed away from the operator. A safety-lock throttle lever is also incorporated for enhanced safety. The tool package includes 95848 Gear Oil and 95541 Gear Oil Gun, completing its comprehensive offering for precise and safe cutting operations.
