About polishing pads
Polishing pads are used in conjunction with machine polishers to add liquid compounds to a surface. Choosing the optimum polishing pads is crucial and will depend on the task at hand. We have a range of pads including ultra-fine, fine, standard, and coarse (typically for removing deeper blemishes and scratches). These will allow you to cut at the level you need with different levels of abrasion.
Choose from stiff foam polishing pads or softer woollen pads. Our pads also come in different colours and sizes to fit a range of machine polishers. We have summarised our range of polishing tools below. Choose from our range of ultra-fine, fine, or coarser polishing. There are polishing tools available for every need!
A range of backpads are available including M14 thread, for lambswool bonnet, for Velcro wool pads, for 6″ foams and also for the Rupes RE21 air long bed sander.
Compounding pads are available as foam pads and waffle pads that hold polish available in black, green, and orange and also include super buff wool. Also available is a range of mini compound pads and heads. We stock Farecla G-Mop 75mm, 150mm and 200mm foam pads as well as unstitched Calico mops for use in conjunction with compounding pads.
Our high gloss polishing pads are available in black, blue, yellow and in packs of two or four.
Backing plates
Buy Farecla 6″ backing plates with 6” (150mm) and 8″ (200mm) being available.
Polishing heads, kits, polishing wheels and flap wheels
Choose from double-sided lambswool heads and G-Mop compound polishing heads. Browse and shop for ferrous and non-ferrous metal polishing kits. These include two compounding pads, two buffs and one pig tail. Buy our 4” polishing wheels and 25x20mm and 60x30mm flap wheels
