Ensuring weight is kept to a minimum and to match the other controls on the gun the DeVilbiss Dgi Pro Pod Digital Gauge comes fitted with an anodised aluminium control knob.
The DGi Pro pod gauge is fixed onto the spreader/pattern changer air valve and takes its readings from that passageway.
Once the spreader valve is set to the desired spray pattern width the working (atomisation) pressure can then be set to 2.00 or 1.75 bar (depending on air cap) using the air flow (cheater) valve at the base of the gun handle.
Painters must not assume that because the spreader valve is located adjacent to the housing that this will adjust the inlet pressure. Air inlet must still be adjusted using the cheater valve in the handle as usual.
