Polishing tools
Choose from a range of polishing tools at DTC including rotary polishers, orbital polishers, dual action polishers and compact/mini polishers. Whichever you choose, these polishing tools can be used to remove marks, scratches, and paint imperfections, with an aim to provide a perfect polished finish.
Rotary polishers work in a motion where the head spins in a consistent circular motion. This causes an accumulation of friction and heat and enables a range of polishing tasks to be completed.
Orbital polishers closely imitate the motion of hand polishing and are a great option for beginners to polishing. The movement is off-centre and reduces some of the friction and heat created by rotary polishers, the cut is lower as well.
Dual action polishers (also called DA polishers), spin in two different motions. The head spins in a circular motion, whereas the spindle spins in a wider circulating motion. This creates an oscillation, which “wobbles” and in doing so, reduces heat and friction. This means DA polishers should be used for light-duty polishing tasks and also by beginners.

Whatever the type of polisher you use you will need to replace backpads, backing plates, compounding pads, high gloss polishing pads, and polishing heads.
