Whilst combination products are a relatively new addition to the composite supply chain, it has been common practice for some time, to combine products on the bench before application to the component.
The purpose of combining your consumable stack is to save in-mould process time, something that can be particularly important when manufacturing a run of components in a production or batch type process, or when covering large surface areas.
