Commercial Spray Booth Installation Case Study
Two refurbished commercial spray booths were required for a growing train maintenance workshop. The project entailed the sourcing and installation of two commercial paint shop spray booths whilst adhering to strict health and safety, environmental and fire safety legislation.
The fully reconditioned paint shop equipment were fitted with dry filter extraction equipment and were heated with a gas fired stoving facility. Electric roller shutter doors and high level lighting ensured practicality, explosion relief panelling and the advanced air recirculation system enhanced the safety of staff. Also included was the fitment of quality Magnehelic pressure monitoring and push button controls further enhanced the paint shop's safety.
Primary and secondary extract filtration was adopted meeting E.P.A Regulations. Guidelines from Health & Safety Executive and the Fire and Environmental Department recommendations on design and construction of vehicle spray booths were also carefully adhered to at all times.
The project was professionaly finished with clean white galvanised double skinned panels and the high level lighting was carefully fitted with new lens and covers. The train maintenance workshop also required additional personnel doors to be incorporated in the side panels.

The project was completed in a timely manner, in just 9 days we had successfully supplied, delivered, erected and commissioned the two commercial spray booths, keeping disruption to the client's operation to an absolute minimum. The modernised paint shop is now fully equipped to carry out full livery schemes both large and small to an exceptional standard.
